Spigen has created a truly excellent cell phone case because of superiority across many aspects of it: its design, the well-selected materials used, and high quality of manufacturing.
Some folks might think "But, it's just a cell phone case." Well, to counter that (in my opinion flawed) perspective, think of this: the case protects a nearly thousand dollar investment. Also, the cell phone case and screen protector become the actual tactile interface you use to interact with the phone, so it's truly important with respect to the feel of the phone.
I am a fan of design excellence, and this case has an elegant design. Observant folks will notice that the case has a couple of raised ridges above the top and below the bottom of the screen. Those ridges keep the screen of the phone raised off of a the surface when you place the phone face-down.
Like many cell phone cases, this one uses two different materials for different parts of the case. Wrapped around the edge of the phone is the non-slip material that allows for a sure grip of the (expensive) phone. The different materials also provide for a nice color contrast--my wife uses the maroon and gold, whereas I have the grey on black. (Hers is reminiscent of Iron Man; I'm frequently a bit jealous!)
When talking about quality manufacturing, the two aspects commonly used are fit and finish. This cell phone case meets a high standard of excellence in both areas. The fit is quite simply perfect, being exactly correct for solid attachment to the phone and perfect button operation. The finish of the parts is smooth, professional, and lacking imperfections and molding seams.
